John Serpico was born and bred in Brooklyn, New York, first in Crown Heights and then in Bay Ridge. John is a product of the NYC public school system (Fort Hamilton H.S. - Go Tigers!), and went to Pennsylvania for his higher education (attending the University of Pennsylvania for his BA degree which he received in 1982 and Villanova University School of Law for his law degree in 1986). John began his law career in Pennsylvania working for 6 years as a pension investigator for the US Department of Labor and as a tax and pension attorney for Fidelity Mutual Life Insurance Company. John lost his Brooklyn accent while in Pennsylvania but not his love for New York. He returned to New York in 1993 and has been practicing law in Brooklyn ever since that time. John lives in both New York City and Amagansett, NY where he also practices and develops real estate.
